By using MyRetter, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the platform's role as a technology facilitator connecting users with registered advocates.

2. Services Offered

A. Emergency Legal Help (₹999 Coordination Fee)

  • Submit requests for urgent legal situations (e.g., police arrest, road accident, domestic violence, FIR filing).
  • Our team connects you to a qualified advocate via conference call.
  • All legal advice is provided directly by the advocate, independently.

B. Find Expert Advocate (₹999 Access Fee)

  • Browse advocates (name + specialization) and pay the access fee.
  • Advocate receives request details and contacts you directly.
  • Advocate sets their own professional fees independently.

3. Advocate Directory Disclaimer

  • Only name and area of specialization are displayed.
  • Listing does not imply endorsement, partnership, or guarantee by the platform.
  • The platform is not responsible for advocate actions, advice, or disputes with users.

4. Fees & Payments

  • All payments collected are platform coordination/service fees.
  • Fees do not cover legal advice or representation, which are determined solely by the advocate.
  • We do not pay per-call commissions to advocates.

5. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information while registering or submitting requests.
  • Understand that all legal advice is provided directly by advocates.
  • Respect advocate guidance and professional boundaries.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • The platform shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from advocate advice or actions.
  • Users acknowledge that the platform is a technology intermediary, not a law firm, and is not liable for legal outcomes.

7. Compliance

  • The platform complies with Bar Council of India Rules, including Rule 36 (advertising & solicitation).
  • Operates under IT Act, 2000, as a technology intermediary.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, India.

9. Amendments

We may update these Terms; updates will be posted on the platform with the revised effective date.

This clause is subject to compliance with the Advocates Act, 1961 and the Bar Council of India Rules. The Platform does not interfere in or influence any professional advice provided by advocates.

Legal Disclaimer

MyRetter is a technology intermediary platform that connects users with independent advocates. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not represent clients in any proceedings. All consultations, opinions, or advice are provided solely by registered advocates, who are independent professionals governed by the Bar Council of India Rules. MyRetter acts only as a facilitator to enable communication and coordination between users and advocates.

Platform Fee Disclaimer

The ₹999 fee charged by MyRetter is for platform coordination and connection services only. It does not constitute a legal or consultation fee. Any legal advice, representation, or follow-up action is handled directly by the advocate, at their discretion.

Compliance with Indian Law

  • MyRetter operates as an online technology facilitator, under the framework of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
  • All listed advocates are registered professionals under the Advocates Act, 1961 and respective State Bar Councils.
  • The platform does not advertise or solicit work on behalf of any advocate, in accordance with Rule 36 of the Bar Council of India Rules.
  • MyRetter provides only directory and connection services; it does not participate in or influence any legal opinion or outcome.
  • User and advocate data are processed as per the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures) Rules, 2011.

Advocate Participation Terms & Honorarium Clause

MyRetter operates solely as a technology intermediary, connecting users in need of legal help with independent, qualified advocates.

Advocates listed or participating on the platform are not employees, partners, or associates of MyRetter. They provide their professional services independently, governed by the Advocates Act, 1961 and Bar Council of India Rules.

For the convenience of emergency service coordination, the platform may provide a nominal honorarium or participation allowance to certain advocates who agree to be available for emergency calls.

This payment is not a legal fee and does not constitute a sharing of fees or employment. It is solely a token of appreciation for the advocate's time and readiness to assist users in urgent situations.

All advice, opinion, or guidance given by advocates is entirely independent and professional. MyRetter neither influences the advice nor guarantees any outcome.

Users acknowledge that the ₹999 collected by the platform is a service coordination and technology facilitation fee, not a legal or consultation fee. The advocate may, at their discretion, charge additional professional fees directly to the client for continued assistance or representation.
